Your skincare ritual includes how you care for the bottles between uses. Keep the formula as supplied, follow the label and make hygiene part of the routine.
Let the label guide storage
Read any storage instructions, expiry information and precautions on your bottle. Do not assume every formula needs refrigeration or that a product can be kept indefinitely.
The bathroom can be convenient, but heat, moisture and direct sunlight are worth considering. Choose a clean place that follows the product’s stated storage conditions, and close the container after use.
Keep the dispenser clean
Handle products with clean hands. Avoid touching a dropper tip or pump opening to your skin or the basin. Close caps properly and keep the outside of the bottle clean.
Do not add water, fragrance or another product to the bottle. Mixing formulas in their containers can change the supplied product and makes its original instructions less reliable.
Keep useful information
Retain the label and batch code while you are using the product. Note when you first open it if that helps you follow the stated use period. If you decant a product, you can lose the directions, batch details and packaging intended for that formula.
If something changes
Do not keep using a product that appears damaged or has an unexpected change in smell, colour or texture. Some variation can be formula-specific, so ask rather than guessing. Keep the bottle and batch information available.
Use Report a Product Concern to contact us about an unexpected change or a quality issue.
A habit worth keeping
Careful storage does not add another treatment step. It helps you use the products you have with attention and keep the information needed if a question arises.
