Product Safety and Use

Read each product’s ingredients, directions and warnings before use. Begin · Focus · Complete explains the role of the products; the label determines the application, frequency and precautions.

Start gradually

Introduce new products one at a time. Follow any label patch-test guidance. A patch test cannot guarantee that a later reaction will not occur. Do not apply cosmetic skincare to broken or irritated skin.

Exfoliating products

Lactic acid and other exfoliants have their own schedule. They are not universal daily finishing steps. Avoid overuse and follow the product’s directions. AHA products can increase sun sensitivity; use daytime sunscreen and take sun-protection precautions.

Eye care

Use only products intended for the eye contour in that area, as directed. Do not apply into the eyes. Rinse if accidental contact occurs and stop use if irritation develops.

Suitability

Review fragrance allergens and other ingredients relevant to your sensitivities. Natural origin does not guarantee suitability. Seek qualified advice for pregnancy or breastfeeding, medical skin conditions, prescription skincare or uncertain compatibility.

Storage

  • Follow the label’s storage and durability instructions.
  • Keep away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
  • Close containers after use and use clean hands or applicators.
  • Do not add water or mix other substances into the container.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

If a reaction occurs

Stop use and seek medical advice for persistent or concerning symptoms. Do not use a leaking, contaminated or damaged product. Tell us through Product Concern Reporting.
