Personal Data Requests

This page explains how to ask about your personal information. Applicable rights can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, depending on the circumstances.

Send a request

Email support@maktafa.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Include the email associated with your account or order, the type of request and an order number if relevant. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why proportionate verification is needed and how to provide them.

Verification and response

We may need to confirm identity before disclosing or changing records. We respond within the applicable legal timeframe. If an extension or limitation is permitted, we will explain it.

Records that may need to remain

Deletion may be limited by tax, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes or product safety obligations. We will explain where a request cannot be completed in full.

Marketing and account deletion

You can unsubscribe from marketing separately. Necessary service communications may continue. See Your Privacy Choices and Delete Your Account.

Ask us if you need clarification about a response. You also have the right to raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
