Compliance and Legal Information
This page explains the responsibilities behind cosmetic skincare and where to find Maktafa’s customer policies. It is not a certificate or a claim that a regulator endorses our products.
Cosmetic care
Maktafa sells cosmetic skincare for external use. Product descriptions relate to cleansing, moisture, skin feel and appearance. The sets do not replace medical care.
Before a product is sold in Great Britain
Cosmetic products require a UK-established Responsible Person, safety assessment, Product Information File, compliant labelling and the required notification. Marketing claims must have supporting evidence. Notification is not product approval.
See the official Great Britain cosmetics guidance. Northern Ireland and other markets have separate requirements.
Product-specific information
Check the packaging for the responsible entity, ingredients, contents, batch identification, durability information and precautions. A manufacturer’s address alone does not establish who holds every regulatory responsibility. Ask us for clarification about a particular product rather than assuming the same certification or arrangement applies to the whole range.
Manufacturing and claims
Good Manufacturing Practice, organic certification, vegan status and animal-testing claims each need relevant documentation. We describe these at formula or component level where supported. We do not describe cosmetic skincare as FDA approved or universally suitable.
